Festival Internazionale di Letteratura | Leggere nell’era della Grande Distrazione.
Chivasso, Turin – Italy

The Literary Festival “I luoghi delle parole” in its thirteenth edition, thirty guests between personalities of contemporary literature, musicians,
illustrators, architects, writers, publishers, intellectuals will compete in twenty meetings where we discuss books, communications, new media, music,
visual languages, stories, art, literature, architecture, sport. From Monday 24 to Sunday 30 of October the festival offers meetings, moments of confrontation,
testimonies, moments of performance art, presentations, workshops, experiences in libraries, theaters, schools, and other crucial and significant places of the five municipalities
of the circuit: Chivasso (city leader), Casalborgone, Castagneto Po, San Sebastiano da Po and Volpiano.

Organized by Associazione Novecento of Chivasso, under the artistic direction of Gianluigi Ricuperati, director of Domus Academy in Milan and theoretical cross-media,
engaged in numerous international projects, this year the festival features the theme New Languages. Read in the era of the Great Distraction,
to meet on the subject of topical and compelling contemporary languages: audience and guests, by now accustomed users of new media that combine different communication codes,
will compete to take stock of where it is heading writing .
