Studio Nucleo at Fuori Salone 2025
On the occasion of Fuorisalone 2025, Studio Nucleo presents Hands on Matter,
an exhibition that brings to life its Material Library – a physical archive collecting
decades of research on materials. The project traces the evolution of the Turin-based
collective through an in-depth investigation into resins, soils, pigments, and craft techniques.
Hosted at Fabbrica del Vapore, Hands on Matter takes the form of an
immersive experience that explores matter in its transformation, between memory and change,
rethinking design not as a finished object but as an ever-evolving process.
Alongside physical samples and tactile installations, the exhibition will showcase
some of Studio Nucleo’s most iconic works, alongside recent and experimental pieces,
fostering a dialogue between past and future. The collective’s latest research embraces
technological innovation, incorporating 3D printing and the development of
increasingly sustainable materials – reflecting a vision of design where tradition
and experimentation intertwine to redefine the relationship between humankind, matter, and the environment.
A strong focus on environmental impact shapes not only the research
on materials but also the exhibition design itself, which is designed to have zero impact,
thanks to the reuse of elements from previous installations.
This approach reaffirms Studio Nucleo’s commitment to
conscious and sustainable design.
